Pure ZrO₂ undergoes a destructive monoclinic (m) to tetragonal (t) phase transition during cooling. By doping ZrO₂ with 3mol% Y₂O₃ (3Y-TZP), our engineering team stabilizes the meta-stable tetragonal crystal phase at room temperature.
